Visit Incredible India Pass

A visit to India and then travel around India to soak in all its glory and charm, there is no better way than with Air India!
To facilitate its guests in planning their travel within India, suiting their time and budget, Air India offers Visit Incredible India Pass (VIIP) in a wide variety with a choice of minimum two and up to a maximum nine coupons per VIIP, for travel in Economy class.
Visit Incredible India Pass can be purchased from an Air India office or its travel agents, outside India, in connection with a ticket to travel to India. Stand alone Visit Incredible India Pass, without an air ticket for travel to India is not permitted.
Visit Incredible India Pass Fares have two variants – one, where travel to India is on an Air India flight, and the other where travel to India is on another airline. The two fare variants are as following:

All other charges, fee and taxes such as. Passenger Service Fee, User Development Fee / Airport Development Fee, Service tax etc. would be additional.
Other terms and conditions of Visit Incredible India Pass are given below:
Period of Sale: VIIP can be purchased between January 1, 2012 and March 31, 2012
Application: Saleable outside India in conjunction with International tickets to India only.
Reservations: When buying Visit Incredible India Pass, the complete itinerary must be finalized and the first sector must be confirmed.
Booking and Up-sell: Booking is allowed in four fare classes (RBD V, Q, K, and H). VIIP Fares are valid for travel in RBD V. If seats are unavailable in RBD V, up-sell is permitted up to RBD H @ USD 25 per RBD per sector.
Travel to India: Outbound travel must commence on or before March 31, 2012
Validity of VIIP: 180 days from the date of commencement of outbound travel to India
Travel Destinations within India: Each flight coupon of a Visit Incredible India Pass entitles travel between any city pair on Air India’s domestic network provided it involves no change of aircraft and flight number.
Routing Restrictions: Out of sequence travel is not permitted and same sector can’t be repeated in the itinerary.
Refunds: VIIP ticket is non-refundable
Child /Infant Fare: There is no special Visit Incredible India Pass fare for children and Infants.
Stopover: Permitted
Revalidation/Re-issuance Penalty:USD50 per coupon per change – Date change or routing change.
Additional sectors:If a person has a VIIP ticket, initially issued for less than 9 coupons, additional coupons can be purchased @ USD 110 per coupon. However, total coupons (as issued initially and additional coupons being purchased subsequently) should not exceed nine. Further, at least one unused coupon must be presented in VIIP ticket, when buying additional coupons. Additional coupons can be bought only once
Baggage Allowance: Normal baggage allowance permitted, as applicable on Air India domestic flights.
Frequent Flyer Mileage Accrual: Flying Returns members earn mileage points as per the sector of travel and RBD used
