It is a service that allows passengers with a confirmed booking on Air India to check in through our website. It is available for select Code Share flights as well. Don't hesitate to contact your operating Code Share carrier for further assistance. 

Yes, any passenger with a confirmed ticket for any Air India flight can check-in using our website. 

No, you don’t have to. Simply log in to our website with your confirmed Air India booking and check-in. 

It’s easy. Just visit the Air India website www.airindia.com, select the check-in tab and key in the required information before you hit enter.

International passengers can check-in 48 hours in advance and up to two hours before the scheduled departure time. For domestic travel, you can check-in up to an hour before departure. 

A maximum of nine passengers can check-in simultaneously.

The infant booking has to be associated to an adult passenger in the PNR.

No, only passengers without any special service requirement can check-in using the website. 

Select seats incur a cost and these can be booked up to four hours before departure. All other seats can be booked using the website for free. 

  • Boarding cards will be issued only to passengers travelling in the domestic sector.
  • Passengers travelling through international sectors will be issued a confirmation slip, which needs to be presented at the dedicated counter at the airport.
  • Passengers travelling ex-foreign stations on our flights will be issued boarding cards.

Once you complete the web or mobile check-in for an international flight, you’re issued a confirmation slip. This will help our staff verify your travel documents at the check-in counter. You will be given your boarding pass if all the documents are in place.  

 

No, you need a boarding pass to board the flight. The boarding pass will be issued after you present the confirmation slip at the check-in counter. 

Yes, you can. When you complete your web check-in, you will receive a prompt that asks if you want to print the document. 

You can use the dedicated baggage drop counters to complete all check-in formalities at the airport. These counters open three hours prior to departure and close 60 minutes before the scheduled time. We recommend you reach these counters well in time to complete check-in formalities without delay.  

You can get your check-in reversed at the airport or contact an Air India call centre for assistance.

You must carry a photo ID card and a copy of the boarding card or e-ticket to enter the airport.
