Transit Information
Air India travellers at Terminal 3 can visit the Air India Lounge (paid walk-ins are also welcome) and enjoy these facilities:
  • Wi-Fi

  • Snacks/meals 

 

In addition to the lounge, there are other facilities that travellers can explore in the retail area such as
  • Duty-free shops
  • Food court
  • Bars
  • Books stores
Travellers also have an option to stay at the Smart New Delhi Transit Hotels by Eaton during long layovers.

 

Minimum Connecting Time
Domestic to domestic:  60 and 90 minutes
Domestic to international:  1 hour and 15 minutes
International to domestic:  1 hour and 30 minutes
International to international:  1 hour

 

Airport Transfers
Travellers can use the public bus service from 0700 hours to 2200 hours. They can also book prepaid taxis run by the Delhi Police, and private operators 24/7.

 

For connecting travellers, the airport offers free coaches between international and domestic terminals.

 

Customs Allowance

You have two channels for baggage clearance at the Delhi airport.

Green channel: For baggage without dutiable goods to declare.
Red channel: For baggage with dutiable goods to declare.

Operating hours for the international lounge are 24 hours and the domestic lounge is open 0400 hour to 2200 hours.
Travellers can spend up to 2 hours in the lounge before their boarding time.
Smoking is not permitted inside the lounges.
