Transit Information
The airport has a dedicated area that can accommodate up to 10 passengers. 

 

Custom Allowance

Goods that must be declared at the red channel include:Passengers can carry the following used personal effects at time of departure:Duty exempted consumable goods are as follows:
  • Consumable goods
  • Restricted or prohibited goods
  • Commercial goods
Passengers not carrying such goods may use the green channel.

 

Important:
  • Export or import of narcotics, arms and explosives, wildlife and its products and commercial goods is prohibited. Any attempt to import or export such goods may lead to confiscation of goods, penalties, and arrest, resulting in prosecution.
  • Passengers are required to declare foreign currency at the red channel if the sum exceeds USD 2000 or equivalent.

  • Alcohol: Whisky not exceeding 1 l/35 oz or beer up to 12 cans.
  • Cigarettes: 200 sticks
  • Cigars: 50 pieces
  • Tobacco: 250 g
  • Camera film: up to 15 pieces 
  • Movie film: up to 12 reels 
  • Readymade and canned foods: up to NPR 1000/USD 8
  • Medicine: up to NPR 1000/USD 8Fresh fruit: up to NPR 1000/USD 8
