The travel certificate is a proof of travel, issued to passengers at a charge, to avail reimbursement, or LTC claims.
You can request a Travel Certificate if your ticket was issued by Air India and all journeys in your Booking Reference Number were completed within the past 1 year. The certificate will be available 48 hours after the departure of the last flight in your Booking Reference Number.
To purchase a travel certificate you must,
a. Enter your ticket number, last name, and primary email
b. Enter the OTP received on your primary email
c. Select the passenger(s) from the list who require travel certificate
d. Check the preview details
e. Proceed to make the payment
f. Travel certificate will be sent to the primary email and additional IDs provided
g. You can also download the certificate from the site for 2 months from the issued date
If your Booking Reference Number consists of more than 4 flights (E.g. If you are travelling Jaipur-Mumbai-Delhi-Vancouver and back), you will get 2 tickets in conjunction. You need to enter the first ticket number to get the certificate.
The cost of a travel certificate per passenger is INR 250 + 18 % GST, i.e. INR 295 per passenger, including all flight segments in the ticket.
