How to setup
The Family Head initiates the creation from their Maharaja Club account.
The Family Head pays a setup fee of INR 500 and invites up to 8 eligible family members. The payment is valid for 60 days, within which at least one invited member must accept their invitation for the Family Pool to be created.
All Maharaja Points earned by the Family Pool members after joining will be automatically credited to the Family Head’s account. These points can be redeemed by the Family Head for themselves and their Family Pool members.

Family Head
- The Family Head creates the Family Pool and can add up to 8 family members.
- All Maharaja Points earned by the members after joining the Family Pool are added to the Head’s account.
- Only the Family Head can book Award Flights and Cabin Upgrades for all members using pooled Maharaja Points.
Who can be invited
- The Family Head can invite their spouse, children, parents, siblings, spouse’s parents, siblings-in-law, grandparents and grandchildren to join the Family Pool.
- To be eligible, members should have flown at least 2 Air India flights with unique booking reference numbers (PNRs), with Points credited to their account.

Eligibility
Family Pool Members must be at least two years old and have an individual Maharaja Club account.
Pool size
A maximum of nine members can join the Family Pool, including the Family Head.
The process
Air India team creates the Family Pool within 7-14 working days of your request submission.

A single split ratio will apply to all members of the Family Pool.

100% of members' existing and future Maharaja Points earned are automatically transferred to the Family Head’s Maharaja Club account.

75% of members' existing and future Maharaja Points earned are transferred to the Family Head's Maharaja Club account.

50% of members' existing and future Maharaja Points earned are transferred to the Family Head's Maharaja Club account.
