What is a Pro-Am?
A Pro-Am (Professional-Amateur Tournament) is a special event held either a day before the main championship begins or after it concludes. It gives amateur golfers the rare opportunity to play an 18-hole round alongside leading professionals from the Professional Golf Tour of India in a relaxed yet competitive setting.
As part of your Pro-Am experience*, you’ll get to:

Participation is by invitation only, and at the sole discretion of Air India, and is open to eligible Maharaja Club members.

Air India Maharaja Club or PGTI reserve the right to modify, suspend, cancel, substitute, or withdraw any event, benefit, invitation, participation opportunity, or related offering at any time without prior notice and without liability. Tournament dates, venues, and schedules are subject to change, postponement or cancellation by PGTI without any further notice.
Please note:
Participants may be required to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by PGTI from time to time, including to have a maximum handicap of 18 for men and 24 for women. Participants are solely responsible for arranging or carrying their own golfing equipment, and complying with all policies, dress codes and requirements of PGTI.
2. This is an exclusive event and is open to Platinum and Gold Maharaja Club member(s) residing in India and their registered guests only, and participation is subject to availability.
3. Participants must be eighteen (18) years and above. Please carry a valid ID proof along with you.
4. Participation in the event is voluntary. Participants acknowledge that golf is a physical sporting activity and agree to participate at their own risk, subject to the applicable safety instructions issued by DP World PGTI.
5. Seats are limited. Hence, members must register for the events and shall be confirmed subject to satisfaction of the eligibility criteria and seat availability. Submission of a registration form constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Registration does not automatically confirm participation. The confirmed participants will be informed separately.
6. By participating in this event, the personal data you voluntarily provide to Air India – including your and your guest’s name, email address, mobile number, and Maharaja Club membership details – shall be used for evaluating your eligibility and coordinating with you for this event. You also acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Notice | Air India.
7. For the purposes of managing and administering events, Air India may engage DP World PGTI and a third-party agency as our authorized points of contact. Certain personal data that you provide, such as your name and contact details, may be shared with DP World PGTI and the agency strictly on a need-to-know basis to facilitate event-related requirements. DP World PGTI and the agency may contact the participants directly to confirm their registration and to provide updates and other relevant information relating to the event.
8. Air India reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any given time without prior notice. By submitting the registration form and selecting the applicable consent checkbox, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
9. Members may not transfer or assign their registration or entry to any other individual. The Maharaja Club member who has registered for the event must be personally present at the event along with their registered guest. Entry will not be permitted to guests if the registered Maharaja Club member is not present. Event registrations are non-transferable and non-resalable. Any attempt to sell, transfer, or misuse the event registration may result in cancellation of participation without reinstatement of Maharaja Points. At any time, Air India reserves the right to verify the identity of the Maharaja Club member.
10. Participants must comply including any eligibility requirements (such as handicap requirements), or participation criteria prescribed by DP World PGTI with the Rules of Golf and any local rules or competition regulations prescribed by DP World PGTI and the Host Club.
11. The decision of the Tournament Committee shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Pro-Am, including rules interpretations, scoring, conduct, and eligibility.
12. Participants must observe proper golf etiquette throughout the round and comply with all instructions issued by Tournament Officials. Participants must respect fellow participants, volunteers, officials and club staff.
13. Participants must keep mobile phones on silent mode during the tournament.
15. Participants must report to the registration desk at least 60 minutes before the scheduled start. Late entry may not be permitted once the event has begun, in order to avoid disruption to the event.
16. Participants may receive event-related communications from Air India, DP World PGTI and/or Air India’s authorised event management agency solely for the purpose of administering the event.
17. F&B from outside is not permitted.
18. Security procedures, including frisking, remain the right of the management.
20. People in an inebriated state may not be allowed entry.
21. Pets are not allowed at the venue. All venue rules must be followed.
22. Participants are advised to take care of their personal belongings. Air India will not be responsible for loss or damage of any personal items.
23. Air India and/or its authorized representatives, photographers or agencies shall have the right to admit any authorised photographers into the venue for photography and/or video recordings for future advertising and promotional purposes without any requirement for permission from any entrant whatsoever.
24. Participants and their guests consent to the use of their images, videos, or recordings by Air India Limited for future marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes, without any further consent or compensation.
25. Air India Limited shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense suffered by participants, or any third parties at the event/venue, including but not limited to the organization, execution, safety, quality, or delivery of the event or any services provided therein.
26. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Air India Limited, its staff, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with their participation in the event or their negligent or wrongful acts or omissions in connection with the event.
27. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety at the event. Air India Limited will take reasonable measures but does not guarantee a risk-free environment.
28. Participants are responsible for being mindful of their own allergies or dietary sensitivities. Air India shall not be responsible for any allergic reactions, health issues, or discomfort arising during or after the event.
29. Air India reserves the right to request a participant to leave in case of unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour, without any obligation or compensation.
30. Air India reserves the right to make changes to the event, reschedule, or cancel the event if required due to operational or unforeseen reasons or where required by PGTI.
31. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
32. Air India’s decision on all matters related to the event will be final.
