必要情報の入力

追跡ページで、姓、ご予約番号（PNR）、または手荷物参照番号（タグ番号）などの必要事項を入力してください。これらの情報は通常、ボーディングパスまたは手荷物引換証に記載されています。

SMSとメールによる通知

手荷物をお預けいただくと、ご登録の電話番号とメールアドレス宛てにSMSおよびメールが送信されます。 このメッセージにより、手荷物が正常にチェックインされ、航空機に搭載されたことが通知されます。このSMS/メールには、万一手荷物が行方不明になった場合に追跡に使用できる手荷物参照番号（タグ番号）が含まれています。

リアルタイム更新の確認

必要情報を入力すると、システム上で受託手荷物の所在と状態に関するリアルタイム情報が表示されます。手荷物の移動状況を確認し、目的地空港で引き渡されるタイミングを把握することができます。

手荷物追跡をご利用いただくことで、特に乗り継ぎ便やトランジットの際に、お荷物の所在を把握でき安心してご旅行いただけます。

目的地で手荷物を受け取るまで、手荷物引換証は大切に保管しておくことをお勧めします。 

フライト前夜に手荷物をお預けいただくための明確なポリシーは設けていませんが、出発時刻によっては可能な場合があります。早朝出発便や、フライト間の乗り継ぎ時間が長い場合など、特定の状況では例外として前日の夜に手荷物をお預けいただけます。それ以外の場合は、出発当日に空港の定められたチェックイン時間内に手荷物をお預けいただく必要があります。

Same airline and ticket

If your connecting flight is part of the same booking on a single e-ticket with the same airline, the baggage allowance is consistent throughout the journey.

Different airlines, separate tickets

When connecting flights are booked separately or involve different airlines, baggage allowance may vary between sectors. Each airline typically follows baggage policies specific to them, and you may need to comply with the rules of each carrier for the respective segments.

To ensure you are aware of any changes in baggage allowance, carefully review the baggage policies of all airlines involved in your journey, especially when booking connecting flights on separate tickets or with different carriers.

Booking your entire itinerary or a single ticket with the same airline or partner airlines can help maintain a consistent baggage allowance for all sectors. 

Infants are entitled to a check-in baggage allowance of 10 kg (22 lb) in Economy, 12 kg (26 lb) in Premium Economy, and 15 kg (33 lb) in Business and First Class on all flights.

Property Irregularity Report (PIR) の作成

紛失手荷物の詳細を記録する公式書類である PIR の作成について、係員にサポートをご依頼ください。後日の照会用に、レポートの控えを保管してください。

個人用追跡デバイスによる追跡

受託手荷物に追跡デバイスを入れている場合は、それを利用して手荷物をより早く見つけることができます。追跡デバイスの位置情報リンクを、ウェブサイトまたはアプリにあるカスタマーサポートポータルを通じて共有し、追跡と問題解決を迅速化してください。

オンラインで確認

PIR の照会番号を使用して、当社の WorldTracer 手荷物追跡システムで紛失手荷物の状況を確認できます。レポートの提出日から 21 日以内に所在が確認できない手荷物は、紛失とみなされます。

補償の申請（該当する場合）

If your baggage is delayed or lost, you can use your tracking device to help us locate it faster by following the below steps:

Step 1: Report the issue

• Visit the Lost and Found counter at the airport.
• File a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) and obtain your PIR number.

Step 2: Generate your tracking device’s shareable location link

• Open the dedicated app for the respective tracking device.
• Select the relevant tracking device.
• Tap Share item location and follow the on-screen instructions.
• Copy the generated location link.

Step 3: Submit the link to Air India

Website

• Click on Support on the homepage and select Contact Us. Under the Need Help section select Submit Request.
• Choose the Baggage category and select the Lost and Found Checked Baggage subcategory.
• Fill in the required details and PIR number.
• Paste your tracking device location link in the Find My Baggage Location field and click on Submit.

App

• Tap the hamburger menu in the app and select Customer Support Portal.
• Choose the Baggage category and select the Lost and Found Checked Baggage subcategory.
• Enter all the required details and PIR number.
• Paste your tracking device location link in the Find My Baggage Location field and click on Submit.

• You will receive an acknowledgment email from Air India.

• The baggage handling team will use your tracking device’s location link to track your luggage in real-time and start recovery.  

• You will receive an email with a link to the WorldTracer Baggage Tracking System, where you can check for real-time updates with your PIR number and last name.

• Once your baggage is located, Air India’s Customer Service Department will notify you. 

Yes, your privacy is fully protected. Sharing your tracking device’s location is optional, and you can stop sharing it any time. The link automatically expired from our database once your baggage is successfully returned to you.

Liquid, Aerosol and Gels (LAGs) may include but are not limited to water, liquid content, creams, lotions, cosmetics, oils, perfumes, deodorants and other sprays, gels, shaving foam, toothpaste, lip gloss, lip balm or any item of similar consistency at room temperature.

Below are the regulations for carrying LAGs when travelling with us:

1. Each LAG must be in containers of 100 ml or less, or its equivalent in other volumetric measurements. Please note, LAGs in containers larger than 100 ml will not be accepted even if they are partially filled.
2. All containers must be carried in a 1 litre transparent re-sealable bag.
3. The containers should fit comfortably and completely in the transparent re-sealable bag.
4. You will have to present the proof of purchase and the transparent re-sealable bag carrying the containers with the LAGs separately when requested for screening at the security checkpoints.
5. LAGs, of any volume, that have been purchased at the retail outlets/ vending machines at the airport or on board an aircraft will not be permitted through screening at security checkpoints unless they are carried in Security Tamper-Evident Bag (STEB).
6. If you are travelling from an international destination to India, you are required to transfer any LAGs exceeding the allowed quantities (as mentioned above), purchased from retail outlets or vending machines at foreign airports or onboard aircraft, to your checked baggage prior to the security screening process at Indian airports.
7. Exceptions to the above regulations are permissible for domestic passengers as per the following:
   1. Medical needs
      • Medicines with a total volume exceeding 100 ml, whether prescribed by a doctor or acquired over the counter, may be acceptable if it is essential to be carried during the journey and the amount to be carried is no more than is necessary for the journey.
      • Substances that are not medicines but are used for medical purposes are permitted, such as ice.
      • A proof of authenticity is required to be presented for the LAG if requested. The name on the label of prescription medication should match the name on the boarding pass. In the case of over the-counter medication, the quantity of medication should be just enough for the duration of the journey. In the case of prescribed medication, the passenger should be able to produce a note from the doctor.
   2. Dietary specifications
      If you have specific dietary restrictions, for example, lactose- or gluten-intolerance, you are allowed to carry your own food. Although, at the screening point, if the quantity of the food is deemed excessive you will not be allowed to carry the full quantity.
   3. Infant/ Baby food
      Baby food or baby products like wet wipes, milk or juice, sterilized water, and meals in liquid, gel or paste form are permissible provided they are deemed just enough for the duration of the journey.

Yes, sports equipment can be carried on Air India flights, either as cabin baggage or checked baggage, depending on the item and its size.

Carry-on baggage

Small sports items may be carried in the cabin if they meet the applicable size and weight limits for cabin baggage.

Examples include:
-Badminton rackets
-Deflated footballs

All cabin baggage remains subject to security and safety approvals.

Checked baggage (Special baggage)

Sports equipment that exceeds cabin baggage limits must be checked in. These items are handled as special baggage due to their size or handling requirements.

Items exceeding these limits must be transported as cargo.

The following points are to be considered while carrying a bicycle as checked baggage.

• The bicycle must be packed in a soft bicycle bag or a hard-shell bicycle case or constructed from a durable/sturdy cardboard container specifically designed for shipping.

• The tyres must be deflated entirely under all types of packing.

• The handlebar should be turned parallel to the bicycle frame or fixed sideways or removed and attached to the bicycle frame.

• Before packing the bicycle, the pedals are to be removed.

• The saddle must be fixed in its lowest position.

• When the bike is carried in a knocked down or dismantled condition, all loose accessories/ parts/items should be placed inside the bicycle bag/box.

• No bike part should be protruding from the bag/box.

• The bike's frame must be wrapped in bubble wrap or plastic foam to prevent damage before packing.

• The bicycle bag/box must be marked inside/outside with the name, contact details (phone number/ email ID), and address. Please note that this point is not mandatory but is good practice.
