Air India Maharaja Club and IHG Hotels & Resorts Offer Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Offer Terms”) apply to the Maharaja Club earn offer made available by Air India Limited (“Air India”) on bookings at participating hotels within the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio (the “Offer”). 

• A Maharaja Club member (“Member”) must provide their valid Maharaja Club ID at the time of booking to earn Maharaja Points.
• Only a Maharaja Club member with a valid 09-digit numeric Maharaja Club ID is eligible for the Offer. The Maharaja Club membership must be active and in good standing at the time of booking, at the time of the stay and at the time Maharaja Points are credited.
• The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Maharaja Club partner earn offer. Rates, promotions and discounts made available by IHG Hotels & Resorts remain subject to the rate rules and booking terms applicable to the reservation.
• Refunds, cancellations and modifications are governed by the rate rules and booking terms applicable to the reservation and by the terms of the hotel at which the reservation is made.
• On completion of an eligible stay at any hotel within the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio, Members will earn 2 Maharaja Points per U.S. dollar of Eligible Spend at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts brands, and 1 Maharaja Point per U.S. dollar of Eligible Spend at Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, IHG Residences and IHG Army Hotels.
  
• “Eligible Spend” means the room rate paid for the room booking at the participating hotel. Eligible Spend excludes taxes, government-imposed charges and fees, service charges, gratuities, resort, destination and amenity fees, food and beverage, and all other incidental charges.
• A minimum of 1000 IHG One Rewards is required for conversion to Maharaja Points. Transfer can be successfully completed only if the Maharaja Club ID matches exactly as captured in your Maharaja Club account.
• Contact your regional IHG One Rewards Contact Centre , and request to convert your IHG One Rewards Points to Maharaja Points.  Maharaja Points will be credited to your account within 60 business days.
• Maharaja Points are not earned on group, meeting, wholesale, opaque, tour operator, crew, employee, friends and family, complimentary, or reward and redemption rates, or on any stay that is not paid in full by the Member. A Member may not earn both Maharaja Points and IHG One Rewards points on the same stay; the Member must select the loyalty currency at the time of booking.
• The value shown during booking is indicative. The final credited amount may differ due to exchange rates and/or booking modifications. Points may be lower than the amount shown during the booking process due to deductions for taxes, fees and other non-eligible charges. Neither Air India nor IHG Hotels & Resorts is liable for any difference between the indicative value shown and the Maharaja Points credited.
• All bookings must be made through the dedicated Air India link or page, and the stay must be completed during the Offer Period. Bookings made through any other channel, including travel agents, online travel agents, other third-party booking channels and call centres, are not eligible to earn Maharaja Points.
• Eligible Maharaja Points earned will be credited to the Member’s Maharaja Club account by Air India within 60-90 days after the completion of the stay. Air India is solely responsible for calculating, crediting and maintaining Maharaja Points. Maharaja Points will not be awarded for cancelled bookings, no-shows, or stays that are not paid in full, and Air India may withhold or reverse Maharaja Points where a stay is subsequently refunded, disputed or charged back, where the booking was not made in accordance with these Offer Terms, or where Air India reasonably believes the Offer has been abused.
• In case a Maharaja Club ID is not mentioned, or an invalid Maharaja Club ID is entered at the time of booking, no reward points will be awarded, and the Member cannot claim retro Maharaja Points for the stay retrospectively. Any claim relating to missing or incorrect Maharaja Points must be raised with Air India, and not with IHG Hotels & Resorts or the hotel.
• Air India may amend the number of points which will be earned under the Offer, subject to the terms of the agreement between Air India and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Any such change will apply only to bookings made after the change is published.
• Maharaja Points are earned on a per Maharaja Club membership ID basis. Only one Maharaja Club ID may be attached to each room booking. If a customer books 2 rooms using 2 different Maharaja Club IDs, points will be awarded per membership ID.
• Air India reserves the right to modify, discontinue or terminate this Offer at any time without prior notice, subject to the terms of the agreement between Air India and IHG Hotels & Resorts, and shall not be liable to any Maharaja Club member or any person for any such modification, discontinuation, or termination. Neither Air India nor IHG Hotels & Resorts will in any event be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential loss or damages arising out of the Offer or the purchase, use or non-use of any products or services under the Offer. Nothing in these Offer Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
• Air India does not make any warranties or representations about the quality, merchantability, suitability, or availability of services offered by IHG Hotels & Resorts or by any hotel within the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio. You acknowledge that Air India does not endorse, control, or guarantee the quality or fitness of any such products/services. Any dispute in relation to delivery, suitability, merchantability, availability, fitness, or quality of the products/services availed under the Offer must be referred by the customer directly to the hotel at which the stay was booked.
• Neither Air India nor IHG Hotels & Resorts is the agent or intermediary of the other. IHG Hotels & Resorts and each hotel retain sole discretion to enter into any contract with a Member, and Air India has no authority to require or compel IHG Hotels & Resorts or any hotel to do so. Air India is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, any contract entered into between a Member and IHG Hotels & Resorts or any hotel.
• IHG Hotels & Resorts is not responsible for the Maharaja Club programme or for the Maharaja Points earned under the Offer, including their calculation, crediting, value, availability, expiry, transfer or redemption, all of which are governed by the Maharaja Club terms and conditions and are the sole responsibility of Air India.
• Any reservation, modification, cancellation, delay or claim related to the accommodation is governed by the rate rules and booking terms applicable to the reservation and by the terms of the hotel at which the reservation is made and is the responsibility of that hotel.
• To administer the Offer, Air India will share the Member’s Maharaja Club ID and related booking information with IHG Hotels & Resorts, and IHG Hotels & Resorts will share stay and Eligible Spend information with Air India. Each party processes that information as an independent controller in accordance with its own privacy notice, available at Air India privacy notice link and IHG Hotels & Resorts privacy notice link.
• Maharaja Points have no cash value and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Any taxes or other liabilities arising from the earning or redemption of Maharaja Points are the sole responsibility of the Member. The Offer is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
• These terms and conditions are in addition to and not in derogation to the terms and conditions as applicable to Maharaja Club members specified on our website www.airindia.com , whose terms and conditions will also be applicable to this offer. The Member’s reservation and stay are separately governed by the booking terms, rate rules and privacy notice applicable to IHG Hotels & Resorts and to the relevant hotel.
• This offer shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Delhi.
• By availing this Offer, the customers shall be deemed to have accepted all the aforesaid terms and conditions.
• Offer is subject to change without notice. In case of any dispute regarding the Offer or the award of Maharaja Points, the decision of Air India shall be final, subject to applicable law.
