Payment must be made online during the booking process.
Refunds, if eligible, are processed within 30 working days. Partial refunds are not allowed.
Customers are responsible to pay for all tolls, parking fees, and interstate taxes, unless these charges are specifically covered in the package.
Extra usage is charged as per your car category’s extra hour or kilometer rates. You will have to make the extra usage payment on Avis secured payment link shared on email.
If your travel exceeds 250 km/day or goes beyond 24 hours, extra charges apply according to the vehicle model.
Your driver will wait up to 30 minutes at airport/railway for pick up and 15 minutes in case of airport/railway drop. Beyond this, it’s considered a no-show and a 100% cancellation fee applies.
Avis will provide a similar car model or upgrade the car at no extra cost.

Yes, you can reschedule your booking 6 hours prior to reporting time. Rescheduling requires a token payment of INR 1 through Avis Secured payment link shared with you over email. Any fare difference (more/less) will be settled accordingly.
If the new booking costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the extra amount is refunded after your trip (within 30 working days).
You will receive your chauffeur and car details 2 hours prior to the reporting time on your registered email and contact number.
The journey distance and time is measured point-to-point.
Contact Avis Customer Care at least 60 minutes before the end of your scheduled booking to request an extension.

Acceptance of Terms:
By making a booking through Company website or app, the user ("Customer" or "You") agrees to be legally bound by the below Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility:
The person booking the car (Self or on behalf of others) must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
2. Avis India Network city locations:

i) Minimum billing for Within City transfers for all City Group A: 4 hours/40 km.
ii) In case of Within-City Transfers - Extra hour charges will be rounded off to the next hour after 20 minutes.
iii) Promotional offers and discounts will be applicable only on the pre-booked rental package and will not be applicable on extra hours and km usage beyond the pre-booked rental package.
3. Additional hour and km usage policy beyond the pre-booked rental package
A. Avis One Airport & Railway Transfers:
Avis One services are currently available in Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune.
Avis One & Airport & Railway Transfers are capped as per the below city wise km capping:
i) Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Manesar, Pune, Hinjewadi & Chakkan: 50 km one way.
ii) Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Gurgaon: 40 km one way.
iii) Any extra km usage will be charged as per the below mentioned extra km rates:
B. Within City travel:
i) If the travel exceeds beyond the pre-booked rental package the user will be billed for extra usage as per the above mentioned extra hour rates.
ii) Every extra hour has 10 km included. Any usage beyond the packaged km in an hour will be billed at above mentioned extra Km rates.
C. Outstation travel:
i) In case of Outstation travel and One-Way Intercity Transfer, km will be calculated from the pick-up point/ city of origin
ii) For Outstation travel, chauffeur retention charges of INR 400 per day and INR 400 per night are applicable.
iii) For City Group , the minimum billing will be for 268 km. If the travel exceeds 268 km in 24 hours, then extra km will be charged depending on the car model
o If the travel exceeds beyond 24 hours, then an extension of 1 hour is available to the user with no extra charge. Post extension, 1-day rental will be charged daily depending on the car model
iv) Extra kilometres will be charged depending on the car model
Rental Scenarios:
i) Car booked: Honda City
ii) Extra hour rate (inclusive of additional 10 km): INR 554
iii) Extra km rate- INR 30
A. Case 1:
i) User booked a ride for 4 hours/40 km
ii) Actual usage- 5 hours/ 50 km
iii) Extra payable – INR 554*1= INR 554
B. Case 2:
i) User booked a ride for 4 hours/40 km
ii) Actual usage- 6 hours/ 55 km
iii) Extra usage: 2 extra hours. and no extra km
iv) Extra payable: INR 554*2 = INR 1,108
C. Case 3:
i) User booked a ride for 4 hours/40 km
ii) Actual usage- 6 hours/ 61 km
iii) Extra usage: (2 extra hours) and (1 extra km)
iv) Extra payable: (INR 554*2) + (INR 30*1) =INR 1,108 + INR 30 = INR 1,138
4. Extension of pre-booked rental:
For extension of any pre-booked rental package, users are requested to call Avis Customer Care at +91 124- 4724888 or email webreservation@avis.co.in at least 60 minutes prior to the car release time.
5. Rental inclusions
Parking, Tolls, Interstate Tax, GST
i) Avis One transfers, other Airport & Railway transfers: Parking, toll and interstate taxes are included.
ii) Within-City/ One-Way Intercity Transfers/ Outstation rentals: Parking, toll, and interstate taxes are not included and will be charged extra, on actual.
6. Wait time policy:
i) For Airport & Railway Pick-Ups: Maximum wait time allowed is 30 minutes. Any waiting beyond this period will be considered as no-show, Avis will pull back the car and no-show charges will be applicable.
ii) For Airport & Railway Drops: Maximum wait time allowed is 15 minutes. Any waiting beyond this period will be considered as no-show. Avis will pull back the car and no-show charges will be applicable.
7. Fuel policy
For chauffeur-driven cars, all rentals are inclusive of fuel charges.
8. Rental package modification policy
i) Bookings can be modified 6 hours prior to the rental start time
ii) User can only modify the booking date and time, reporting address & car type but cannot modify the rental type & origin city.
iii) Modified bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded.
iv) An additional payment of INR 1 has to be paid to confirm the changes after which the previous booking will be annulled. If the revised amount is greater than the previous amount, the additional amount has to be paid first-hand & if the amount is lesser, the due amount will be refunded after the rental period within 30 days.

9. Cancellation policy

Refund policy
i) Avis India will process the refund within 30 working days as per Company cancellation and refund policy.
ii) No partial refund is applicable.
10. Car upgrade policy
i) In case the selected car model is unavailable, Avis will try its best to provide an equivalent car model or upgrade the car with no additional charge to the user.
ii) In case the selected car model is unavailable and a lower-segment car is allotted to the user. The difference in the final base amount will be reimbursed to the user as per Company refund policy
11. Car replacement policy
i) In case of an accident or a breakdown, Avis will provide a replacement car within a reasonable time
All the above rental terms and conditions are applicable to all Rental types including Avis One Transfers, Airport & Railway Transfers, Within City, One way Intercity Transfers and Outstation rentals.
12. Website Rates, Fleet and Rental Terms are subject to change at any time, at the sole discretion of the Company without prior notice.
13. GST@12% will be applicable on Gross invoice amount including Toll, Parking, interstate taxes & chauffeur retention charges on all rentals (Avis One transfers, Airport & Railway transfers, Within City, One-way Intercity Transfers & Outstation).
14. Car / Rental Usage Policy
i) The User shall neither use nor allow the car to be used for any illegal or unlawful activity or for any other purposes contrary to the provisions of the applicable laws
ii) The User shall neither consume nor allow the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes or any contraband or psychotropic substance in the car.
iii) The User shall neither carry or allow or cause any person to carry any arms, ammunition or inflammable or explosive substance inside the car.
iv) User will not ask for the car to be taken to high terrain areas, terrorism/ naxal affected areas
v) The Company does not allow the car to be used to carry pets, goods, or any other object that can damage the upholstery or any part of the car. In such an event, the User will be charged the actual cost of repairing/ cleaning the interior or exterior of the car.
vi) User is responsible for removing all personal belongings at the end of the rental.
vii) The Company will not be liable for any theft or damage to the belongings of the User during the entire rental period. The Company has no policy of User Luggage Insurance
viii) The User agrees that the data provided in this Agreement and at the time of placing the Rental Order may be stored, processed, and transmitted manually/electronically by the Company. This data may also be used for promotional / marketing activities
15. Indemnity Policy
i) The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Company including its directors, shareholders and employees harmless for any loss suffered by the Company including reasonable legal costs and third parties claims arising out of or in relation to the breach of its obligations, representations, warranties and covenants by the User of this Agreement and against all claims, penalties, proceedings, civil or criminal, initiated against the Company as a result of such breach.
ii) The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Company its directors, shareholders and employees harmless for any loss suffered by the Company including reasonable legal costs, liabilities, costs actions, claims, any fines or penalties imposed in respect of or arising out of use of the car, including losses on account of any third party liability and third parties claims, as a result of unlawful or illegal use or misuse of the car by the User or as a result of use of the car for the purposes contrary to those set out in this Agreement.
16. Injunctive Relief:
Any violation and breach of this agreement contained herein will result in irreparable and continuing damage to the Company for which there will be no adequate remedy at law, and Company shall be entitled to injunctive relief and/or a decree for specific performance, and such other relief as may be proper (including monetary damages if appropriate).
17. Intellectual Property
All content and materials available on the Platform/Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, design, and software, are the property of Avis India Mobility Solutions Private Limited (formerly Mercury Car Rentals Private Limited) and/or and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, perform, or otherwise use any content or materials from the Platform without Company prior written consent.
18. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
The Company reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any such changes will become effective immediately upon being posted on this website. By continuing to use our services after changes have been made, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. These changes shall also apply to any past, current, and future rentals, to the extent permitted by law.
