Terms and Conditions

General Conditions applicable for Group travel:

  • The Group fares are not applicable for Individual / Family travel.
  • The passengers must be booked as a group PNR and not as individual PNRs.
  • Group fares and conditions apply for departures within 363 days.
  • The groups are permitted for Economy class, Premium Economy and Business class separately and no mixed cabin itineraries are permitted.
  • Advance deposits must be paid within defined time limits.
  • Children will be charged the same fare and conditions as adults in a group booking.
  • An infant without a seat will be ticketed as per standard infant fare rules. An infant occupying a seat will be classified as a child passenger.
  • Statutory taxes / non-airline charges (if any) be applicable, as per system, at the time of ticketing.
  • No-show is when a passenger / agent fails to cancel the booking at least 24 hours before departure.
  • For “No-Show” passengers, only statutory taxes are refundable.
  • Eligibility for group
    a.  For Economy class                        Minimum 10 Pax per departure.
    b.  For Premium Economy                 Minimum 6 Pax per departure.
    c.  For Business class                         Minimum 4 Pax per departure.

Note: One child will be counted as an adult to meet the minimum required number of passengers for the group booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:

  • As per conditions specified in the group contract.

Name Update, Changes and Rebooking:

  • Name Update: As per conditions specified in the group contract.
  • Name Changes: As per conditions specified in the group contract.
  • Rebooking: As per conditions specified in the group contract.

Other terms and conditions:

  • Flight schedules are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Aircraft types may vary due to operational requirements.
  • Images used are for illustrative purposes only.

  • By authorizing or approving the payment for the transaction, the customer acknowledges that they owe Air India Limited (“Air India”) the amount specified in the transaction until funds are received in Air India’s bank account. Further the customer specifically permits Air India to contact the card issuer entity to hold the funds in its favour.
  • The customer agrees for the payment to continue to be due to Air India until the processor of the payment settles the total amount of funds to Air India.
  • Air India further reserves the right to not issue any tickets, or cancel any issued tickets, if the funds are not received by it in its bank account for any reason. 
  • The customer agrees to the terms set by Air India and will not raise a dispute, including by way of chargeback, to the prejudice of Air India. The customer agrees that Air India reserves the right to defend and disclose this document as evidence deeming waiver against any claims through any channel, including but not limited to chargebacks, disputes or claims.
  • Air India reserves the right to seek physical presence of the card used to make the payment prior to boarding of the passenger. Further, Air India has the right to seek written consent and proof of ownership of the card in a physical document with clear reference to the card details, including its expiry date, holder details and CVV/CVC. Air India reserves the right, to be exercised at its sole discretion, to determine the authenticity of the card, pursuant to which passenger boarding shall be allowed.
