Discover a more rewarding, flexible, and seamless Maharaja Club experience

As part of Air India’s ongoing transformation, we are introducing a series of enhancements to Maharaja Club designed to deliver greater value, flexibility, and ease across every stage of your journey.

Rolling out progressively from 1 April 2026, these enhancements are shaped by insights gathered from over a year of active listening of member feedback and are aimed at making the programme more rewarding and better aligned with how you travel today.

More Value for Maharaja Points on Award Flights

Maharaja Club members will now enjoy lower redemption levels across domestic and international routes, making both spontaneous getaways and long-haul journeys more rewarding. Lowest-value Award Flights will now be available more frequently, including closer to departure, making it easier to plan travel - whether well in advance or at shorter notice.

Here's a quick look at some highlights

  • Award Flights for domestic routes will start from 1,500 Maharaja Points, with fares ~25% lower on average and select routes seeing reductions of up to 60%
  • Award Flights for International routes have been standardised across regions and start from 10,000 Maharaja Points onwards
  • The lowest fare levels for Award Flights, which were previously available only more than 90 days before departure, are now available up to 30 days before departure.
  • Upgrade Awards start from 4,000 Maharaja Points for Domestic sectors and 20,000 for International sectors
  • Domestic Business Class redemptions are ~9% lower on average, with select sectors discounted by up to 50%
  • Across long-haul regions (US, Canada, Europe, ANZ), Business class now requires 25–45% fewer points delivering significant savings on long-haul travel.
