Terms and Conditions: Photo Contest – #NamasteEurope

These are the Terms and Conditions for the #NamasteEurope photo contest (“Contest”) hosted on Instagram (“T&Cs”).

This Contest is organised by Air India. Participation in this is voluntary.
The Contest ends at 11:59 p.m. IST on 31 March 2026.
The Contest is open only for Indian nationals from India, over 18 years of age. The Contest is not open to employees of Air India and any persons eligible to avail benefits under Air India’s Employee Travel Policy, including but not limited to listed beneficiaries. Entries received from such persons shall be automatically disqualified.
The Contest giveaway of 2 flight ticket gift vouchers (“Gift Voucher”) will be awarded to one winner. Each Gift Voucher issued to the winner shall be loaded with a fixed value, as determined by Air India, which may be redeemed against the fare on a round-trip ticket for travel on Air India-operated routes departing from Delhi or Mumbai (DEL/BOM) to London or Frankfurt (LHR/FRA) only. If the winner is travelling from any other city or location within India, the winner shall be solely responsible for making their own arrangements, at their own cost, to reach Delhi or Mumbai to avail the prize. The winner is responsible for paying all applicable charges, including but not limited to, any taxes, surcharges, and other levies, payable on the ticket at the time of booking after redemption of the Gift Voucher. All other expenses, including but not limited to hotel accommodation, visa fees, travel insurance, local transportation, meals, personal expenses, and any other ancillary or incidental costs shall be solely borne by the winner. Air India shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever in respect of any such costs.
The Gift Vouchers credited to the winner are valid only for a fixed period of 12 months from the date of issuance and cannot be extended. Once the vouchers are credited, the winner will receive a confirmation e-mail from Air India at their registered e-mail address. Air India is not responsible for undelivered notifications due to incorrect email addresses or delivery failures for any reason.
The Gift Voucher is subject to inventory and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Air India does not guarantee seat availability. Each Gift Voucher is single-use only and cannot be reused once redeemed. If the Gift Voucher is used for a child travelling alone then the booking can be made via the Air India Customer Support team only. An additional convenience fee as levied by the Call Centre will be applicable.
No other vouchers, corporate discounts, or direct benefits are applicable Gift Vouchers. Any tax liability, including but not limited to income tax or any other applicable statutory levy arising out of or in connection with the prize or participation in the Contest, shall be solely borne by the winner.
Once booked and ticketed under a particular customer’s name, the ticket is non-transferable. The participant will have to be the part of the PNR for redemption success. Changes to any ticket booking are not allowed. In case of cancellations or no-shows, the Gift Voucher will be deemed utilized. Only statutory taxes will be refunded once the customer contacts Air India through their Customer Support, and the refund will be processed within 7 working days of cancellation/no-show.
By participating in this Contest, each participant agrees that he/she has read and understood these T&Cs and by their participation in the Contest, each participant agrees to be bound by the T&Cs. Mere participation should not be perceived as any commitment on the part of Air India to select a participant as the winner. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment by Air India to conduct further, similar or other contests in the future. By participating in this Contest, the participants also agree and confirm that they are legally eligible to participate in this Contest and are of such legally permissible age.
An entry shall be considered valid only if it complies with all of the following requirements:
1. The entry is submitted from a public profile on Instagram. Entries submitted from private or restricted profiles shall be deemed invalid.
2. The image must be your own original image, created and shot by and/or featuring you; must not have been entered into any other drawing or competition nor won any award; and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity.
3. Each participant agrees that they have the express consent of any identifiable persons appearing in the image to their likeness being used in the ways set out in these T&Cs.
4. Excepting those of Air India, the submission must not contain or reference any names, products or services of any company or entity or any third-party trademarks, logos, trade dress or promotion of any brand, product or service.
5. The participant complies with all other eligibility criteria and conditions specified under these T&Cs.
Incomplete information provided or failure to provide true and accurate information, failure to submit proof of identification and/or original confirmation number will automatically disqualify a participant. Air India shall have the absolute and sole discretion to determine whether any participant should be disqualified by reason of failure to abide by these terms and conditions, bad faith, fraud or any other legitimate reason.
Air India has the sole discretion in selecting the winner from all eligible entries received, based on skill and creativity. Prizes are decided by Air India. The decision of Air India in this regard will be deemed as final and no correspondence will be entertained by Air India with regard to the same. Prizes are offered on 'NO EXCHANGE, NO REFUND' basis.
Air India holds the right to publish the winner's names through any medium/ channel.
Air India does not encourage and is not responsible for the misuse of any content. Copyrighted, obscene, provocative, AI generated or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Air India retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
Multiple entries are not allowed. Participants take full responsibility for the entries shared by them.
All participants including entrants and winners will not have any claim against Air India or its affiliates with regard to matters connected with this Contest. All participants including entrants and winners expressly waive any and all rights of claim against Air India with regard to the contest, prize, declaration of the winner or the T&Cs hereof. Further, Air India shall not be liable for any losses, damages, taxes, liabilities or inconvenience suffered by any participant as a result of these T&Cs, entering into this Contest, or accepting any part of the prize. Further, participants will hold Air India harmless against any loss, damage, taxes, or liabilities suffered by Air India due to a participant’s participation in this contest or accepting any part of the prize.
Air India reserves the right to withdraw the contest and/or change, amend, extend, and/or alter any of the T&Cs of this Contest, without any reason and at any time, without prior notice.
Air India will not be responsible and liable for acceptability, suitability, delivery, service, defects, deficiency, performance, or quality of the services /products/prize provided under the Contest.
The participant(s) hereby give express permission to Air India & its affiliates to freely use and distribute in any manner and through any medium their submissions and content thereof as entered by them in this Contest.
Materials/content sent/submitted with Air India including feedback and other communications of any kind as well as submission of an entry to this Contest shall be deemed to be non-confidential. Air India shall be free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display such feedback, and materials without limitation or obligation of any kind. Air India is also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in such submissions or materials for any purpose. Participants agree and confirm that such submissions and any content/material included therein do not breach the intellectual and/or proprietary rights of any third party.
Prizes are non-transferable & Air India reserves the right to modify/withdraw the prizes, with/without any prior notice.
Disputes, if any, will be subject to Indian laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
By entering the Contest, participants indemnify Air India and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agencies from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any liability, claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest.
Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, Air India’s maximum aggregate liability to you under the T&Cs or otherwise for any loss in connection with the Contest and/or the Gift Voucher shall be limited to the value of the Gift Voucher.

Privacy Notice

By participating in this contest, you consent to Air India collecting and processing your name, social media handle, and photograph for the purpose of evaluating entries, selecting the winner, and announcing results on our social media channels. If you are selected as a winner, your contact details will be collected solely to facilitate voucher delivery. Your photograph may be re-posted or featured on our official social media pages in connection with this contest. if your submitted photograph includes images of other individuals, you confirm that- You have obtained their consent to share their image as part of this contest

Your data will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the contest and fulfill any legal obligations, after which it will be securely deleted. You may withdraw your participation at any time by contacting us at [data.privacy@airindia.com], though this may result in disqualification.
