Maharaja Club members can earn Points when flying across eligible Air Canada flights. Add your Maharaja Club ID to your booking and get loyalty benefits that extend globally, allowing you to accumulate Points on international journeys across the Star Alliance network.
Mileage accrual for Air Canada–operated flights is determined by the booking class you are ticketed in. Each booking class is assigned a specific earning rate, as outlined in the table below.

Members will also earn 1 Tier Point for every 2 Maharaja Points earned.
For codeshare flights operated by partner airlines, Points are calculated according to your booking class and the partner’s earning rules. Hence, Points credited may differ, and in certain cases, they may not be awarded at all.
Claims for past Air Canada flights must be submitted within 12 months of the travel date.
Your Booking Class is a one-letter code that indicates your fare type, e.g., Economy Saver, Business Flex. To know your booking class, you can either check your e-ticket or go to the Manage Booking section, if your ticket was booked from the Air India website or mobile app.
If you are unable to find your booking class, please contact the customer support team of the operating airline.
You can use your Maharaja Points to book Award Tickets or upgrade your cabin class on Air Canada. Award Ticket redemption is subject to availability of seats in the designated booking class. Cabin class upgrades are eligible based on your original booking class.
