Notice for Consent to Communication

NOTICE FOR CONSENT TO COMMUNICATION

I authorize Air India Limited (the “AIL”) and third-parties acting on AIL’s behalf to deliver or cause to be delivered to me, and I consent to receive- booking assistance, telemarketing telephone calls and text in relation to our service offerings including flight tickets, cart abandonment or payment failure, at the telephone number(s) provided in the form above, including telephone calls using an automatic telephone dialing system and/or an artificial or prerecorded voice.

I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE I AM NOT REQUIRED TO CONSENT AS A CONDITION OF ACCESSING THE WEBSITE OR PURCHASING ANY GOODS OR SERVICES. I acknowledge I may withdraw and revoke this authorization and consent by verbally communicating such withdrawal or revocation on the telephone call itself, or by any other reasonable means offered by AIL.

I represent and agree I am the subscriber or customary user with respect to the telephone number(s) provided above and have the authority to give this consent. I further agree to notify AIL of any change to any of the telephone number(s) provided below. I agree to indemnify AIL, its directors, officers, employees and agents, and hold them harmless, from and against any and all losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including any attorneys’ fees) that arise out of my breach of any of the foregoing representations and agreements.

AIL and/or its authorized third parties maintain a subscription to the National Do-Not-Call Registry (“NDNC”) in order to prevent the placement of any telemarketing calls (which for purposes of this policy include text messages) to consumers properly registered on the NDNC. AIL indefinitely prohibits the placement of calls to any consumer properly registered on the NDNC, so long as the registration has not been cancelled by the consumer or removed by the NDNC administrator. This does not apply to consumers who have provided their prior express consent, or prior express written consent, as applicable, to be contacted.

AIL maintains a company specific Internal Do Not Call list (“IDNC”)  and will honor any request to be placed on the IDNC within a reasonable time of such request, not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of such request. Each entry on the IDNC will be maintained for at least five (5) years or until the requestor makes a request to be removed from the IDNC or provides a new consent to be called. If I change my telephone number or add an additional telephone number, I shall provide AIL with the new telephone number to replace or supplement the phone number previously placed on the IDNC to prevent calls to that number.
