Kids Zone on our Vista inflight entertainment system offers over 130 hours of children’s movies and TV shows, along with an additional 35+ hours of child-friendly content on Vista Stream, our wireless inflight entertainment service.

In partnership with global content leaders such as Moonbug and Red Bull TV, we bring together curated entertainment tailored to different age groups, from early learners to teens.

Alongside films and shows, kids can enjoy a range of interactive games, including favourites like UNO, Angry Birds, Chess, and Ludo Race. A specially designed interactive map also lets young flyers track their journey and discover more about the places they’re flying over.

For families looking to limit screen time, Air India has partnered with Vobble to offer a rich library of audio-only entertainment. From stories and music to podcasts and learning-based shows, children can stay engaged while listening, imagining, and unwinding, especially on longer journeys.

Expectant Mothers & Infants

Travelling during pregnancy or with a newborn can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to make it easier. Expectant mothers may travel up to the 32nd week of pregnancy, provided there are no medical complications.

Infants aged over 7 days and under 2 years can be seated on a parent’s lap, so you can keep them close and comfortable throughout the journey.

Unaccompanied Minors

When your child is travelling alone, we make sure they’re never truly by themselves. Our Unaccompanied Minor service for children aged 5 to 12 years offers dedicated care throughout the journey.

From guided support at departure to attentive care onboard, we ensure your child is safely reunited with their designated guardian at arrival.

Cloud Chasers extends beyond the aircraft through a special partnership with KidZania, a global indoor activity centre where children explore real-life role plays in a safe, city-like environment.

At KidZania’s Mumbai and Delhi NCR centres, children can take part in over 100 role-playing activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving through play. At the Air India Aviation Academy experience, they can even step into the roles of pilots and cabin crew, bringing their aviation dreams to life.

As an added benefit, Maharaja Club members can earn 7 Maharaja Points for every ₹100 spent on KidZania tickets, adding value to both travel and play.

By connecting the joy of flying with hands-on learning, this partnership allows families to carry the spirit of discovery beyond the journey.

What age qualifies as an infant?
A child over 7 days old but under 2 years on the date of travel is considered an infant.

How many infants can travel with one adult?

One infant is permitted per adult. If you are travelling with more than one infant, each infant must be accompanied by a separate adult.

Do I need to request a bassinet for my baby?

Bassinets are available free of charge on many flights, subject to availability. They can be requested in advance when selecting your seat or by contacting customer service.

Can I use a car seat onboard?

Certain specialised child seat extenders are not permitted onboard. However, bassinets and approved child safety devices may be used where available.

Do I need to register my kid for Maharaja Club to get onboard amenities?

No. Children travelling on Air India can enjoy Cloud Chasers amenities onboard without enrolling for Maharaja Club. The programme is designed to make the journey more engaging and enjoyable for young travellers, whether or not they are members of Maharaja Club.
