International flight tickets can be purchased 361 days in advance, while for domestic flights, you can make bookings until two hours before departure. Furthermore, business class travellers can choose between 'web special' business and 'super value' business class, while for economy class, you can choose from 'super value', 'flexi saver' and 'flexible' economy at the time of booking to select the offer that suits your requirements.
Depending on your travel, the documents required can vary. You can carry any of the following documents:
Infants and minors need not carry any proof of identity when travelling with parents or guardians. Unaccompanied minors must carry any one of the proof-of-identity documents listed above.
If you want to travel abroad, you must have a passport with at least 6 months' validity. Additionally, your passport should have at least 2-4 blank pages to be considered valid. Failing to meet these requirements, you have to apply for a re-issue. It is advised to apply for a re-issue up to one year before the date of expiry.
If you are travelling to India for International Transfers in major hubs like Delhi and Mumbai, the passport validity stays the same. However, you need a different visa called a transit visa. And the requirement for said visa might vary based on the layover time and city.
