Air India does not specify a limit on the number of devices that can be linked to a single account. However, users are advised to keep their login credentials confidential to ensure account security.
Your request to claim points may have been rejected due to one or more of the following reasons:
Eligibility Period Exceeded:
- For Air India-operated flights, you can claim missing points up to 12 months after your travel date.
- For Star Alliance Partner Airlines, the claim window varies based on the airline you are travelling with, and can be 365 days (12 months), 210 days (7 months), or 180 days (6 months) from the date of travel. For more information click here.
Membership Status at Time of Travel:
- For Air India flights, you can claim points even if you were not a Maharaja Club member on the date of travel.
- For Star Alliance Partner Airlines, you must have been a Maharaja Club member on the date of travel to be eligible to claim points.
Inaccurate Information:
- Claims may also be rejected if the submitted details do not match the travel records.
Your booking will automatically appear in the mobile app if:
- It was made directly through the app.
- Alternatively, you are logged into your loyalty account in the app and have entered your Maharaja Club ID while booking through other channels.
Please note that it may take a few minutes for new bookings to sync. If the issue persists, try refreshing the app, logging out and back in, or contacting our customer support.
Ensure the promo code is entered correctly, is still valid, and applicable to your booking. For further assistance, contact customer support.
The Buy Points feature is available only for Maharaja Club members who meet the following criteria:
- You must have earned points on at least two separate bookings with Air India-operated flights.
- A minimum of 15 days must have passed since your enrolment in the Maharaja Club program.
If your account does not meet the above-mentioned conditions, the Buy Points feature will remain disabled until eligibility is fulfilled.
You can easily update your frequent flyer number by retrieving your booking information by visiting the Manage Booking tab on the Air India website or app. All you need to do is:
- Enter your booking details to access your reservation. There is no need for you to log in to your account.
- Once the information is retrieved, you can follow the on-screen prompts to update your frequent flyer number.
- You may be required to complete an OTP verification to successfully update your booking.

If your baggage is lost or delayed, report it at the Mishandled Baggage Counter upon arrival.
Our customer support team will help you file a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) and obtain your PIR number.
In the Find My app on the iPhone, tap Share Item Location and copy the AirTag link.
Open the Air India Mobile App and go to:
Menu > Customer Support Portal > Baggage > Lost and Found Checked Baggage
Fill in the form and paste the AirTag link in the Find My Baggage Location field.
Submit the request to receive an acknowledgment email with a tracking link.
Air India will use the AirTag location to help recover your baggage and notify you once it’s found.
