You can always find trending routes and our latest limited-period offers under the Exclusive Deals section on the website when booking.

You’ll find a range of exclusive offers across both domestic and international routes:

You may carry one cabin bag and one small personal item, such as a laptop bag or handbag. Any additional items will need to be checked in as per our policy.
Excess baggage charges vary by route. On domestic flights, fees are applied per additional kilo, while international sectors follow sector-based slabs. You can view the exact charges in the baggage section when reviewing your booking. Please note that airport rates are usually higher than online pre-booking.
Yes, you can pre-book excess baggage through the “Manage Booking” section on our website. Booking in advance is often more cost-effective and helps ensure a smoother check-in experience.
Infants without a separate seat are allowed 10 kg of checked baggage across all cabins. In the cabin, you may carry baby food, feeding bottles, and a small bag of essentials, subject to security regulations.
Yes. You may bring one collapsible stroller, carrycot, or infant car seat per infant. Strollers can often be used up to the aircraft door, depending on airport procedures. Car seats may be checked in or used onboard if the child has a purchased seat and the seat meets safety requirements.
If your baggage is lost, please report it at the Air India Baggage Services Desk and obtain a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). We will track your bag through WorldTracer and keep you informed. If your bag is declared lost after the tracing period, compensation will be provided in line with DGCA and international liability rules.
Yes. Cancellation is allowed on most tickets, with charges varying based on fare type and timing of the cancellation.
Currently, Air India follows the DGCA-mandated 24-hour rule. If you book your ticket at least seven days before travel, you can modify or cancel it within 24 hours without any airline cancellation charges. A 48-hour look-in period has been proposed by DGCA but is not yet in effect.
If your flight is cancelled by Air India, you may choose a full refund or be rebooked on another flight without any additional charges.
Refunds for direct bookings are processed within seven working days. Tickets purchased via a travel agent are refunded within 30 working days. Banks may take extra time to reflect the credit.
Yes, you can reschedule your flight by paying a rebooking fee along with any fare difference. Charges vary by fare type and route. Changes can be made via our website, app, or customer support.
Air India permits minor name corrections, usually up to three characters, for the same passenger. Requests should be made at least 72 hours before departure. A fee may apply depending on how the booking was made. Full name changes, identity changes, or ticket transfers to another person are not allowed.
In the event of a significant delay, you are entitled to meals, refreshments, or accommodation depending on the circumstances. You may also opt for a refund or switch to another flight at no additional cost.
Yes. Compensation does not apply for delays caused by factors beyond the airline’s control, such as weather, airport restrictions, security issues, or air-traffic congestion. However, basic assistance like meal vouchers or rebooking options will still be provided as per DGCA guidelines.
We communicate flight delays through SMS, email, or phone. If a delay exceeds six hours, DGCA guidelines ensure you are informed of the new departure time and offered a refund or alternate flight. Airport staff provide ongoing updates and assistance.
Meals and snacks are offered on domestic flights depending on the route and duration. Shorter flights serve light snacks and drinks, while longer flights include a hot meal. Most flights have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options depending on the route.

Wheelchair assistance can be requested via “Manage Booking,” customer support, or while making your booking. Please place your request at least 48 hours before departure to ensure staff and equipment are available. Support is provided from deplaning to exit.

However, if the cardholder is not travelling with the passenger, specific documents are required for fraud prevention. The passenger must carry a photocopy of the credit or debit card used.
